I have been training dogs since 1984 when I bought my first Alaskan Malamute which I showed in Confirmation. I did sledding and weight pulling and managed to title one Mal in obedience over the years - Mals are not really obedience dogs, nonetheless all my dogs were well behaved inside and around the public.
I currently have 4 German Shepherd 3 of which I am training in the sport of Schutzhund.
I started this blog as a place for people to share their joys and their frustrations, as they experience them in the sport. Hopefully, together we can find resolutions, make new friends and help one another in an effort to revive what seems to be a dying sport.
